About Liz:
Liz is an experienced educator with over twenty five years of teaching experience. She began her career as a Special Educator in Boston, MA where she worked with middle and high school students with behavioral, emotional and learning challenges.
Throughout her career Liz has served as a Classroom Teacher, a Special Educator/ Learning Specialist and Computer Educator. She has experience working in rural, suburban and inner city schools and has worked with students in grades K-12. She has also worked as a technology trainer for the Nashua School District where she led district wide professional development activities for teachers K-12 and helped teachers integrate technology into their curriculum.
Liz worked for 16 years as a Digital Learning Specialist in Westford, MA where she worked in a coaching role with K-2 teachers and students. Currently she is currently working at the Greenfield Commonwealth Virtual School (GCVS) as an online Special Education Teacher for grades K-3. She is also an adjunct instructor at the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS) teaching Elementary, High School and Adult Ed courses including Social Media, Early Childhood and Learning in a Digital World, Parenting, Engineering and Design and Elementary Technology courses. She holds a M.Ed in Educational Technology from Emmanuel College and is certified in both Elementary Education, Special Education and Digital Literacy Specialist in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
