Rolleston College Horoeka Haemata warmly welcomes you to the first EduCamp Selwyn, in conjunction with Christchurch Connected Educators (#ChchED).

Please come prepared to share something from your own teaching, whether it is a useful tool, innovative pedagogy or philosophical musings. An EduCamp is a place to share the great things already going on in schools throughout Canterbury, and beyond.
What is an educamp?
An EduCamp does not have a focus until the actual day. It is an unconference, which means the participants determine who will be presenting and what will be presented on the day. This is why it starts with a SmackDown – participants share what they could talk about, which allows people to decide if they want to know more...or not. If people want to know more, we ask those presenters to run a short workshop or presentation. Once people start filling in the SmackDown slides, it becomes more clear what sort of things will be on offer on the day.
