Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Lourdes, and I am an aspiring ESL teacher considering I am a bilingual individual myself who wishes to assist students in need of learning and speaking English. I am currently pursuing my M.Ed. degree in Curriculum & Instruction at Southeastern Oklahoma State with an emphasis on ESL (English as a Second Language). I graduated in 2021 with my bachelor's degree in political science at Texas A&M University- Commerce and shortly thereafter moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with my husband, where I became an ELA teacher and mom for the first time! Now that the 22'-23' academic school year is over, I decided to take a break to concentrate on being a mom and focus on my studies. My family and I moved back to a small border town in Texas and my plan is to teach here in a few years once my little ones are older (currently expecting another baby due Feb 2024).
