Directions for how to share your video are in the following order below, all are viable options depending upon your preference.

Share your .MP4 video file from screenrecording on Mac or HP

Option 1: Using the Built-in Screen Recording Feature (macOS Mojave and later)
Open Screen Recording Tool:
Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5.
Choose Recording Options:
A control bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Click the options to either capture the entire screen, a selected portion, or a specific window.
Start Recording:
Click the "Record" button to begin.
To stop recording, click the stop button in the menu bar or press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5 again and select "Stop Recording."
Save Your Recording:
The recording will automatically be saved to your desktop or another specified location. You now have an .MP4, which now needs to be shared via your OneDrive, Google Drive, YouTube, etc. See directions at the bottom for how to share this .MP4 file.
Option 2: Using QuickTime Player
Open QuickTime Player:
Launch QuickTime Player from your Applications folder.
Start a New Screen Recording:
Click File > New Screen Recording.
Adjust Recording Settings:
Click the drop-down arrow next to the record button to adjust settings like audio input.
Begin Recording:
Click the red record button.
Select the area of the screen you want to record, then click "Start Recording."
Stop Recording:
Click the stop button in the menu bar or press Command (⌘) + Control + Esc.
Save Your Recording:
Name your file and choose a location to save it. You now have an .MP4, which now needs to be shared via your OneDrive, Google Drive, YouTube, etc. See directions at the bottom for how to share this .MP4 file.
Option 1: Using the Built-in Xbox Game Bar (Windows 10 and later)
Open Xbox Game Bar:
Press Windows + G to open the Xbox Game Bar.
Access the Capture Widget:
Click on the "Capture" widget (camera icon).
Start Recording:
Click the record button (circle icon) to start recording your screen.
Alternatively, press Windows + Alt + R.
Stop Recording:
Click the stop button in the capture status bar or press Windows + Alt + R again.
Find Your Recording:
Go to the "Videos" folder and open the "Captures" subfolder. You now have an .MP4, which now needs to be shared via your OneDrive, Google Drive, YouTube, etc. See directions at the bottom for how to share this .MP4 file.
Tips for Both Mac and PC:
Audio Input: Ensure you have the correct audio input selected if you need to record sound.
Test First: Do a test recording to ensure everything is working correctly.
File Management: Regularly check and manage your recordings to save space and keep your files organized.
Option 1: Google Drive
Upload Your Video:
Open Google Drive in your web browser.
Click the "New" button on the left side of the screen.
Select "File upload" and choose your .mp4 video.
Get a Shareable Link:
After the upload completes, right-click on the video file in Google Drive.
Right-click on the video file and select "Get link."
Set the access level (Restricted, Anyone with the link).
Click "Copy link" and share the link with others by copy/pasting the link as part of your evidence.
Option 2: OneDrive
Upload Your Video:
Open OneDrive in your web browser.
Click the "Upload" button at the top of the page.
Select "Files" and choose your .mp4 video.
Get a Shareable Link:
After the upload completes, right-click on the video file in OneDrive.
Right-click on the video file and select "Copy link."
Set the access level (Anyone with the link, Specific people).
Click "Copy" and share the link with others by copy/pasting the link as part of your evidence.
Option 3: YouTube
Upload Your Video:
Open YouTube in your web browser.
Click the camera icon with a "+" sign ("Create") at the top-right corner.
Select "Upload video."
Set Up Your Upload:
Choose your .mp4 video file.
Follow the on-screen instructions to add a title, description, and tags.
Select a thumbnail, and choose the visibility setting (Public, Unlisted, Private).
Publish and Share Your Video:
Click "Publish" once you have set up your video.
After the video is uploaded, you will get a link to your video.
Share the link with others, I recommend using the "unlisted" setting.
Tips:
Google Drive and OneDrive: Ensure you have enough storage space before uploading large files.
YouTube: If you set the video to "Unlisted," only people with the link can view it, and it won't appear in search results.
Sharing: Always double-check sharing permissions to ensure the intended audience can access the video.
Each of the options below has their pros/cons to using them and have limitations on video length (usually about 5 minutes per video), so don't hesitate to add more than one link, if needed to fully explain yourself.
