Machine learning has been an interring topic to talk about in class and the activity that I was shown has really changed my mind about what we are currently doing with technology. Automation is already here and with the help AI we are heading in a direction that could change the way we live forever. I see a lot of potential in machine learning but I do fear that one day we will all be replaced by machines. Learning and informing other can help with this issue and prevent a problem like his in the future. During class we thought a machine to recognize objects by feeding it images of the objects and I was shocked by what it can do. Showing this to students can be very fun but can also show the dangers of thus type of technology.
