Given the principles of what we know to be effective based on experience and research related to learning sciences, instructional design principles, and strategic implementation of educational technology, you will embark on seven "learning pathways" that are aligned with the ISTE standards for Educators.
All tasks are pass/fail, and your goal is to earn 75 points in each pathway.
You will note that some tasks are worth 25 points, some worth 50. Your goal is to earn 75 points from the tasks in each pathway, so you may choose to do:
Each 25 point task is designed so it should take you about 45-60 minutes to complete, and then whatever time it takes to write your reflection. If you have spent more than 90 minutes on the task itself, bring your work to a close and note, in your reflection, that you were not able to complete it.
Each 50 point task is designed so it should take you about 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete, over the span of a few days, and then whatever time it takes to write your reflection. If you have spent more than three hours on it, bring your work to a close and note, in your reflection, that you were not able to complete it.
In short, each pathway should take you between 2-3 hours to complete.
Please write about all your learning in one document. In the Bb assignment for the week, you will submit a link to one GDoc or Word doc (via OneDrive), editable by others. You will submit an editable link in the “Text Submission” section of the assignment, by copying/pasting the URL to your GDoc or OneDrive document into that field.
