Institutional scaffolding approach to support the collaboration among researchers and EdTech companies.
The support staff from existing innovation clusters or laboratories who will take part in the project will engage in accumulating contacts and information on how to increase the capacity of their home institution via possible collaboration and creation of so-called Virtual EdTech Incubators (VEI) within the EdTech Talents network. VEI is an institutional scaffolding approach that will support the development of the knowledge service of an individual researcher or a research group to pass through the TRL levels. The VEI approach is developed and documented by seconded staff members, and it is adapted to the needs of every university. Through virtual collaboration (Virtual EdTech incubator for services that develop through cooperation between EdTech Talent project partners) and networking it will be possible to bring businesses and academia from different countries closer, overcoming sectoral barriers and contributing towards free circulation of knowledge and expertise.
