Understanding the Consumer using the Guest Cycle (chapter 3): Restaurant

Pre-Arrival: I expect to have table set for us because I called the restaurant for reservation at 6:30 pm.

Arrival: I expect to be seated and look at their menu and get our drinks ordered and get ready to order what we would like to eat from their menu and wait for our foods to come.

Occupancy: I expect to enjoy our dinner and appreciate how good their food are and order more food.

Departure: I expect for the waiter to come and ask them for the bill and get my wallet ready and pay for the bill.

Asan Bay Overlook

Asan Bay Overlook is home to a World War II memorial site where the names of the men and women that endured the war are etched into its walls. Also at the site is an unparalleled view of the Asan Beach/ApraHarbor area as well as the battle area where the Marines stormed the beach on July 21, 1944, also known on Guam as Liberation Day. This unit features beautiful views of the sea-side villages of Asan and Piti and a perspective of the landing beaches used by Marines during the battle.

Adelup Point

Adelup Point in Asan is the Governor's Complex and now the site of monuments and government offices. It is named in honor of the late Ricardo J. Bordallo, a former Governor of Guam and public servant.The latte of freedom which is an american monument and a symbol of chamorro strength. It was planned to be 200 feet tall but ended up being only 80 feet. The Chinkon Shrine and gun which is a few yards away from the latte of freedom and honors those who have died during WWII. The Lone Sailor monument which stands proudly and represents the people, who have and who will serve in the navy today.

FT Apugan

The fort, now commonly called Fort Apugan, provides a commanding view of the capital village of Hagåtña, the Philippine Sea, and the sheer northern clifflines of Oka Point and Urunao Point. It was built during the administration of Governor Manuel Muro in 1794 to 1802.The fort was constructed from stone rubble, known as mampostería, which is a CHamoru construct of Spanish origin.

Plaza De Espana

The Plaza de España was the location of the Governor’s Palace during the Spanish occupation. Academics speculate that the plaza was established at its current location after a typhoon in 1693 destroyed Fort Santa María de Guadalupe, where the governor’s residence had been located since 1683.

Two Lovers Point

Two Lovers Point also known as Puntan Dos Amåntes is a prominent cape and seaside cliff in Tamuning, Guam, that overlooks northern Tumon Bay and the Philippine Sea. One of four National Natural Landmarks on Guam, it is closely associated with the folktale of two doomed lovers and is a major tourist attraction. The Point is part of the limestone plateau that forms the northern part of Guam. The cliff height at the point is approximately 370 feet. Two Lovers point is the most attractive tourist site on the island.

South Pacific Memorial Park

For many years Japanese groups came to Guam to pay respects to those from Japan whose remains were scattered in unmarked locations throughout the island after the war. The memorial would be a means of reconciliation between the CHamoru people and the Japanese who occupied the island in World War II. The monument symbolize two hands raised in prayer so that it would stand as a beacon to the world that two nations who were formerly at war could pray together in peace.

Planning My First Trip

Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo is one of the largest city in the world and it is also the capital of Japan. It is a beautiful and clean place. Harajuku is a very popular, it is region in Tokyo which is known for extreme fashion and youth culture. Tokyo, Japan is the most populated in the world, it have 13 plus million people in 2021. The Emperor resided in Kyoto, which was the formal capital of the nation. The Edo Period lasted for nearly 260 years until the Meiji Restoration in 1868, when the Tokugawa Shogunate ended and imperial rule was restored. The Emperor moved to Edo, which was renamed Tokyo. I want to be able to know how life it is in tokyo and be able to explore around it and trying things that i have not tried before.

Transportation

The Airline that i will be using is the Japan Airline.
My flight going there would be at 12:30 pm then arrive there at 3:25 pm
The flight from Guam to Tokyo is 3 hours and 55 minutes.
The price of my ticket is 455 dollars in 2 weeks
I will need my valid passport and an onward/return ticket for tourist/business "visa free" stays of up to 90 days .
valid vaccination certificates will not be required to obtain certificate of testing for COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to departure.

Lodging

The place I will be staying at is Hilton Tokyo Odaiba.
The guest room per night is $400 USD.
Odaiba part of Tokyo, this property puts you close to attractions and interesting dining options. The hotel is rated with 4.5 stars and this high quality property provides guests with access to massage, restaurant and hot tub on-site.
I want to stay here because the hotel has great service and there are many great restaurants inside the hotel. I'm excited for the hot tub because that's when I feel most relaxed and that's what I look forward to on vacation.

Food and Beverage

I want to try different foods in Japan such as Ramen, Sushi, Yakitori, Sashami, Tempura, and so much more because it's my favorite Japanese cuisines.
A famous restaurant that I want to try is called Kobe Beef Teppnyaki Hakushu (Shibuya) An extremely popular family-owned Teppanyaki restaurant in Shibuya area.

Recreation and Entertainment

I want to explore around Japan. I want to see many historical sites such as the temples and imperial palace. I would like to see the tokyo skytree and explore disney land. I'm not the type to shop around but I would love to eat so much food around the area and explore.
