Teichmüller curves from an algebraic point of view. Notes that I prepared for a seminar in a Ph.D. course on Teichmüller theory, with the aim of providing a short introduction to the circle of ideas behind the beautiful results proved by Martin Möller in this paper, hopefully accessible also to students without a strong background in Algebraic Geometry.
