I am Assistant Professor of Law at the Amsterdam Center for Law and Economics (ACLE), University of Amsterdam and Programme Director of the Master in Law & Finance (MLF). I am a Research Associate at the European Banking Institute (EBI).
I work at the intersection of Law and Finance and I am interested in financial regulation, cryptoassets and corporate governance topics. My research spans in the broad field of Law & Finance, currently focusing on sustainable banking regulation, private money regulation and bank recovery. On these topics, I published book (chapters) and edited volumes in houses such as Elgar, Palgrave Macmillan, OUP and Routledge; as well as articles in journals such as the Computer Law & Security Review, European Business Organization Law Review, Journal of Corporate Law Studies, Journal of Financial Crises, and Yale Journal on Regulation. I am a guest contributor to, among others, the Columbia Law School Blue Sky Blog, LaVoce.info; Oxford Business Law Blog, and VoxEU Columns.
I previously was Postdoctoral Researcher at ACLE. I held visiting positions at the European University Institute, Goethe University Frankfurt, LUISS University Rome, University of Bologna, University of Hamburg, University of Oxford.
I hold a PhD in Law&Econ at Erasmus School of Law. I also hold a Master Degree in Law at University of Florence and LL.M. in Law&Econ.
