Hi — I’m Jeff.
I live in Leadville, I work in healthcare, and I have substantial experience helping families during some of the hardest moments of their lives. I’m running for Lake County Coroner because this role matters — and I believe our community deserves a coroner who is accessible, organized, and grounded.
This isn’t about politics.
It’s about doing a serious job with professionalism, clarity, and respect.
Why I'm Running
Why I'm Running
Over the years, work has taken me into hospitals, intensive care units, and into people’s homes through hospice and home health. I’ve seen what happens when systems work well — and when they don’t.
Right now, the coroner’s office can be more responsive, better coordinated with local healthcare providers, and easier for families to navigate. I’m running because I have the experience, temperament, and commitment to improve how this office serves Lake County.

Healthcare experience — Registered nurse with experience in leadership, ICU, Interventional Radiology, home health and end-of-life care
Leadership — Rebuilt and led a hospital interventional radiology department
Calm in crisis — Accustomed to making clear decisions when emotions are high
Communication — Families and providers deserve timely, straightforward answers.
Community connection — I live here, work here, and plan to stay here in Lake County.

Like many people who find their way to the mountains, I came here for the outdoors — and stayed for the community.
Leadville feels like home. I care about this town, the people who live here, and the way we show up for one another when it counts. Serving as coroner would be a way to give back to a place that has given me so much.
