The Edison High School English Department is a well-rounded and rigorous four-year experience for all students. At the 9th and 10th grade levels we focus on breadth and fluency where students are provided with a rich and broad experience concentrated on reading and writing at the foundational level. At the 11th and 12th grade levels we seek to deepen student's understanding through an in-depth and rigorous exploration of longer and more complex texts coupled with a large number of writing opportunities resulting in a generous corpus. We offer a highly qualified group of teachers who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our department.
