I established Lally Walford Interiors about 15 years ago, having worked in the interiors industry since early 2000. I grew up in an interior design environment – my mother has run a successful interior design business since before I can remember – and, having worked for a few years in London at an advertising agency, I decided to train properly in interior design and commit to what I suspected that I had always wanted to do. I have worked in London, Sydney and North Yorkshire and, following our move to Scotland in 2005, have established a wonderful, loyal and ever-increasing client base both here and further afield.

Over the course of the past 22 years I have worked with a large and varied number of suppliers, tradesmen, architects and specialists in Scotland and beyond. I have gotten to know a core team of these partners well, particularly in southern Scotland, which helps me to bring increased efficiency and breadth of knowledge to my projects. I trade accounts with a large number of UK and global fabric, furniture and lighting suppliers and designers, keeping my offering up to date. I have access to, and generally use, a very wide variety of sources on all my project work. I am trained in the making of bespoke soft furnishings which has proved an invaluable skill when working on the details of projects.
