Focusing primarily on etude work and filming in a practical way that a professional production may film and producing a finished, edited scene to be viewed before the next session.

If you are coming from theatre based acting then the workflow of a film set is going to be a huge shock. Make sure you're prepared for your first day on set with Edinburgh Acting Club!

INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL SCREEN ACTING (Season 2)

One 4 hour in person session for a total of 6 sessions.

Dates will be set and course will go ahead once 6 people sign up.

Date - September 2024.

Content - Who's who on a film set, on-set etiquette, filming terminology, screen acting constraints, screen/stage acting differences, Chekov, Stanislavski, Mamet. Emotion through imagination, Character Objectives, Self-tape auditioning, lot's of practical filmed acting.

All final edited scenes will be uploaded to a private YouTube link. All footage will be made available to you for showreel usage.
