If you want over-ear noise cancellation and a wired listening option for computer use, choose Edifier V80; if you need open-ear earbuds with a touchscreen case and longer claimed battery life, choose Cyberix Open Ear. For a desk setup where you want to focus, the V80’s hybrid ANC is the more compelling fit; for workouts or situations where you prefer an open-ear design, Cyberix makes more sense.
• Edifier V80’s biggest strength: over-ear listening with hybrid ANC, Bluetooth multipoint, and a wired mode. Trade-off: it is a headphone design, not a compact open-ear earbud.
• Cyberix Open Ear’s biggest strength: open-ear ear-clip earbuds paired with a touchscreen case and up to 60 hours of stated battery life with the case. Trade-off: it does not list active noise cancellation or a wired mode.
• For computer work involving calls, music, or switching between two devices, the V80’s multipoint feature is useful.
• For exercise or light rain, Cyberix lists a sweat-resistant design intended for use in those conditions.
• Choose Edifier V80 if you want ANC, over-ear cushions, and both wireless and wired listening options.
• Choose Cyberix Open Ear if you prefer an open-ear fit and want case-based controls such as a flashlight and phone photo control.
The Edifier V80 is an over-ear Bluetooth headphone with hybrid active noise cancellation. It offers multiple ANC modes, and its built-in microphone uses AI noise cancellation for calls. For computer use, that combination points toward a practical work headset: listen to audio, take calls, and reduce some surrounding noise without giving up the familiar feel of ear cups.
Bluetooth 5.4 multipoint lets it connect to two devices simultaneously, which can suit someone who alternates between a laptop and phone. It also supports wired listening, a useful alternative when you want a stable connection or prefer not to rely on Bluetooth. The listed battery life is up to 45 hours with ANC off and 26 hours with ANC on. A 15-minute charge is stated to provide up to eight hours of use.

I’d consider the V80 if your computer routine includes longer listening sessions, calls, and switching between devices. Its foldable design and soft ear cushions are relevant if you want headphones you can put away between work sessions or take along when traveling. Skip it if you specifically want open-ear earbuds, an ear-clip fit, or Cyberix’s touchscreen case functions. The V80 does not list a headphone jack; its wired mode should not be mistaken for a specified jack connection.
Cyberix Open Ear is a Bluetooth earbud set with an open-ear, ear-clip design. That makes it the more natural choice if you do not want over-ear cups around your ears. The product information describes the fit as intended to stay in place during workouts, and says the earbuds can handle sweat and light rain. Those details may appeal to someone who wants audio while moving rather than a more enclosed setup at a desk.
Its case has a color touchscreen with functions such as brightness adjustment, a flashlight, and wallpaper changes. The case can also connect with a phone to remotely control photo taking. Cyberix lists up to 60 hours of battery life when the earbuds are paired with the charging case, with a one-hour charging time. Bluetooth 5.4 and compatibility with most Bluetooth-enabled devices are also listed.
For a computer, Cyberix is the better fit if open-ear comfort and a case with extra controls matter more to you than ANC or a wired option. It may also suit someone who wants one pair for computer audio and exercise. Skip it if reducing background noise is a key requirement: the supplied information does not list noise cancellation. Its stated 100-millisecond audio latency is also worth considering if you are sensitive to the timing of audio and video. That figure does not by itself establish how every computer or app will perform, but it gives a reason to favor the V80’s listed 6-millisecond latency for latency-sensitive use.
Side-by-Side: Which Should You Choose?
• Best for computer work in a noisy room → Edifier V80. Its hybrid ANC is the clearest feature difference for reducing unwanted noise.
• Best for an open-ear fit → Cyberix Open Ear. It uses an ear-clip design rather than over-ear cups.
• Best for switching between a computer and phone → Edifier V80. Bluetooth multipoint supports connection to two devices simultaneously.
• Best for workouts or light rain → Cyberix Open Ear. Its product details specifically describe sweat resistance and use in light rain.
• Best for a touchscreen charging case → Cyberix Open Ear. Its case display includes controls for features such as brightness and a flashlight.
• Best for the longer stated battery figure with a case → Cyberix Open Ear. It lists up to 60 hours when paired with its charging case; the V80 lists up to 45 hours with ANC off.
• Best for the lower listed audio latency → Edifier V80. Its stated figure is 6 milliseconds, compared with 100 milliseconds for Cyberix.
These are different kinds of headphones, so the choice is less about one design being universally superior and more about what you need at the computer. If you want a more focused listening setup, ANC and the V80’s lower listed latency give it the edge on paper. If you want to keep an open-ear style and value the case’s extra controls, Cyberix has the more distinctive feature set.
Searches such as “best in ear earbuds for computer” often come down to fit as much as sound. Cyberix is the earbud-style option here, but its open-ear design is not an in-ear seal. Likewise, someone searching for “best hifi stereo sleep headphones for computer” should not assume either product is designed specifically for sleeping; the available details describe the V80 as over-ear and Cyberix as ear-clip open-ear earbuds, without a sleep-use claim.
My Verdict
For a computer setup where you want ANC, multipoint, or a wired listening option, the Edifier V80 is the stronger match on the listed features. Cyberix is a better fit if you prefer open-ear earbuds and their touchscreen case.
The Edifier V80 lists hybrid active noise cancellation with multiple modes.
Cyberix lists up to 60 hours when used with its charging case. The Edifier V80 lists up to 45 hours with ANC off and up to 26 hours with ANC on, so the figures are not directly identical use conditions.
The V80 lists Bluetooth multipoint for simultaneous connection to two devices, which suits switching between a computer and phone. The product details do not specify the exact behavior for every device or software setup.
