This Privacy Policy explains how EdgeTune uses device permissions and information when you use the application.
EdgeTune is designed to provide screen-edge controls for adjusting volume and screen brightness. The app requests only the access required to provide its features and supporting services.
EdgeTune does not require you to create an account or provide personal information directly to use the app.
EdgeTune uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand app usage, identify crashes, diagnose technical problems, and improve app performance and stability.
These services may process information such as app interactions, device and app information, crash logs, diagnostics, and identifiers according to Google's applicable privacy policies.
EdgeTune requires permission to display over other apps so that the edge controls can remain available while you are using other applications.
This permission is used to place the configurable swipe area along the left or right side of your screen.
EdgeTune uses Modify System Settings access when you enable screen-brightness control.
This allows the app to change the device's screen brightness when you swipe the assigned screen edge.
This access is optional if you onl y want to use volume control.
EdgeTune uses notification permission to display notifications related to its active edge-control functionality and important service status.
On Android versions that require notification permission, EdgeTune asks for your approval before using notifications.
EdgeTune uses audio-setting access to adjust device volume through edge gestures and to provide supported audio actions such as double-tap mute.
This access is used only for controlling supported device audio settings.
EdgeTune may provide an optional request to exclude the app from Android's battery optimization.
This can help keep the user-enabled edge controls available on devices that aggressively restrict apps.
The battery optimization exemption is optional and can be changed through Android system settings.
If you enable the Start after reboot option, EdgeTune can restore your enabled edge controls after the device restarts.
This functionality is only used to restore EdgeTune according to your selected settings.
EdgeTune uses vibration access to provide optional haptic feedback when you interact with supported edge gestures and controls.
You can control haptic feedback from EdgeTune's settings.
EdgeTune uses internet access for Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
These services are used for usage analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, and improving the stability and performance of EdgeTune.
EdgeTune stores your selected app settings locally on your device so your configuration can be restored when you use the app again.
These settings may include your selected edge, control mode, edge size and position, sensitivity, appearance, volume and brightness preferences, feedback settings, and other EdgeTune configuration options.
EdgeTune uses services provided by Google Firebase, including:
Firebase Analytics — used to understand general app usage and interactions.

Information processed by these services is handled according to Google's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Information processed through EdgeTune and its integrated services is used to:
