• Display Over Other Apps (System Alert Window): This is the core permission of the App. It allows the border light to remain visible on the edges of your screen even when you open other applications (such as WhatsApp, Zoom, or your camera app).

• Foreground Service: This allows the light to stay active and stable while the App is running in the background, ensuring the light does not flicker or turn off when you switch between tasks.

3. Data Collection and Privacy

We value your privacy above all else.

• No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

• No Camera/Microphone Access: Although the App is intended to be used during video calls, Edge Ringlight does not access your camera or microphone. The App only controls the pixels on the edge of your display.

• No Tracking of Other Apps: While our App runs on top of other applications, we do not monitor, record, or see what you are doing in those other apps. We have no access to your messages, calls, or screen content.
