This policy describes the information that the - Extension ("the Extension") handles. It covers only what this extension does.
1. Who we are
The - Extension is a browser extension with a single purpose: it generates strong passwords and passphrases with an entropy readout. That is the Password Generator tool.

2. Information stored on your device
The Extension stores the following in the browser’s own storage:
- Settings you choose inside the Extension, such as theme and refresh interval.
- Data you create for this tool, such as saved lists, favorites, or alert targets.
- A short-lived cache of the last answers, so the same request is not repeated immediately.
This information stays on your device. If you have turned on browser sync, the browser may copy extension storage to your other signed-in browsers. We do not sell this data and we do not build an advertising profile from it.
3. Information sent over the network
This Extension does not contact other websites. It has no host permission, so the data it keeps stays in the browser.
4. Information we do not collect
The Extension is not built to collect:
- Your name, postal address, phone number, or government ID.
- Payment card details.
- Your email address through the Extension (email is used only if you write to us).
- Browsing history, or the contents of pages you open outside this Extension.
- Microphone, camera, or precise location.
5. How information is used
Information is used only to:
- Provide the Password Generator features: generates strong passwords and passphrases with an entropy readout.
- Keep the settings and saved items you create.
- Refresh the data that feature needs, when you open it or when you turn a refresh in your browser.
- Show a toolbar badge or a notification only if that feature includes one and you leave it in your browser.
- Answer support emails you send us.
- Meet the law that applies to this product.
The Extension does not sell personal information. The Extension does not use this data for third-party advertising. The Extension does not use its permissions to track you across unrelated websites.
6. Permissions
The Extension may request:
- Storage — to save settings and in-extension data on your device.
- No broad website host access — this tool runs locally where possible.
Each permission is limited to the single purpose above.
7. Outside services
This Extension does not send your data to an outside service in order to do its job.
8. Sharing
We do not sell or rent user data. Information is shared only when:
- A legal requirement necessitates sharing.
- It is needed to protect users, the Extension, or our rights against abuse or fraud.
9. Retention
- Data in the Extension stays until you clear it, reset the Extension, or uninstall it.
- Cached answers are temporary and are replaced or dropped on their own.
- Email you send us is kept long enough to respond to you and to meet legal duties.
Uninstalling removes the Extension’s storage on that browser profile, following the browser’s normal behavior.
10. Security
Permissions are limited to this Extension’s single purpose, and data that is not needed is not collected. No electronic storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
11. Children
The Extension is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher age your country requires. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the contact email, write to us and we will delete it where the law requires.
12. International use
If you use the Extension outside your home country, a request to an outside service may be processed in the country where that service operates.
13. Your choices
You can:
- Change or clear settings and saved data inside the Extension.
- Turn the Extension off or uninstall it.
- Clear its data in the browser’s extension settings.
- Email us about this policy.
14. Limits
- Permissions are used only for the single purpose described above.
- The Extension does not sell personal or sensitive user data.
- The Extension does not transfer personal or sensitive user data for a different purpose, except where needed to provide the feature or where the law requires it.
15. Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date changes with it. Continuing to use the Extension after that date means you accept the updated policy.
