The vision of the EdGamers Network is that teachers will create a culture of student and teacher empowerment through a hands-on, supportive, multi-year approach resulting in college and career readiness via gamification as evident by:
- Improved higher-order thinking skills through equitable access to customized digital learning environments.
- Students becoming responsible global digital citizens.
- Students taking ownership of learning through relevant connections, divergent thinking and risk-taking.

- An immersive environment with distinct rules,
- Goal-structured, open-ended quests using customized digital learning environments,
- Open dialogue between teacher and students showing constructive global feedback systems,
- Voluntary participation showing divergent thinking and risk-taking through the use of game mechanics.
