Today on the 2nd of January 2025 Edelweiss Air officially rebranded from Aer Lingus to Edelweiss Air. Over the coming days pilots can expect to receive aircraft from edelweiss' fleet to be able to log flights.

Following the news that Aer Lingus will be rebranding to Edelweiss Air the owner placed an order for 13 liveries. This will cover all the liveries (including special variants) found in Edelweiss' fleet.

With Aer Lingus set to be made and the in-game airline already created it was necessary to edit the name and callsign for the airline which was a costly mistake totalling 300,000WP. Not including the liveries that were already bought for Aer Lingus.

Welcome to Edelweiss Air; the leading Swiss leisure carrier now brought to Aeronautica. Founded on the 2nd of January 2025 we pride ourselves in our community and innovation as an Aeronautica Airline.
We operate out of Sandris with a modest fleet of A320s and A340s; we are expecting to welcome the A350-900 some time this year. Our historic fleet consisted off the A330-200s, A330-300s and MD80s*.

Once reaching Senior First Officer you will also be given a free A340.
