This question was just meant to guide the person answering. We didn’t want input from people who would likely have no use for the product.
This question, in a way, explored whether people who regularly restrain their dog would be more likely to buy the product than people who normally didn’t. To our surprise, the following answers didn’t seem to have an obvious relation to the answer chosen for this question.
This question was meant to get a general feel for whether or not the product was desirable. It seems that once the product has been perfected, people would be significantly more interested in it. It seems like there is a market for the product.
The desired price remained in the $10 to $20 range, leaning more towards the $10. This is similar to the pre-prototype market research. Because the product is so cheap to produce, this price range seems ideal.
Do you see yourself recommending this product after it has been perfected?
Maybe after it has been perfected but not at this point in time.
What price would you pay for it?
Personally, around $15.
What would you change about the prototype?
I would try to find a way to add some weight to it to help increase the anti-anxiety nature of the fabric. You want it to feel like a hug around the dog and it seems too thin to do that right now.
Do you see yourself recommending this product after it has been perfected?
If it is effective then why not.
What price would you pay for it?
Average restraints typically span from $10 to $35, so probably within that range.
What would you change about the prototype?
I would take another look at the general shape of the harness and placement of straps.
