The solution to our problem will help reduce distraction in the car that was created by an unrestrained dog, thus creating a safer environment for driving with pets.
How can you be reasonably certain that if you solve the problem, a need and/or demand for the solution exists?
The team found, through research and survey evidence, that people believe dog restraints should be used more often.
Through research, we found that unrestrained dogs are more of a distraction in the car which can be a danger to everyone in the car.
The team found that experts believe that the problem exists (dogs creating a distraction in the car) and making a more convenient way to restrain them is a viable solution.
Why will stakeholders bother to try it?
Stakeholders will try the product because it is a combination of 2 products which are often bought separately. It is more convenient than what is on the market.
After review, we believe that the solution is realistic and attainable. From justifying the existence of the problem, to discussing our final solution set with experts, we have consistently based our decisions on intense research and advice. While there are several solutions on the market, we feel that our design offers an ease of use and convenience that isn't seen anywhere else. Our product considers ethics and is designed based on existing laws. We believe that because our product is predominantly fabrics, it can be repurposed when the consumer no longer has a use for it. There are several places where the product can be marketed, both online and in real life. The product is cost effective and marketable while still solving the problem we started with.
