Just arrive with a willingness to interact and learn.
Learn, network, and share knowledge and ideas during sessions.
A free professional development event for school librarians from west Georgia and beyond!
This is an independently organized and hosted 'unconference' conference. Similar to an EdCamp, the topics are created by the participants prior to the start of the event; sessions are not presentations but conversations. Because content is participant-driven, attendees are encouraged to arrive with a willingness to share. It's a flexible, casual time to network with other librarians, share knowledge and expertise, and leave with new ideas and practical information.
During the first part of the camp, you will mingle with other attendees and settle in for the unconference. There will be an online session board (see the Home tab) where participants choose their session topics. Participants then rotate through those sessions. Topics may include but are not limited to: collaboration, collection development, multiple literacies, OER, eResources, advocacy, standards, curriculum, programming, tech tools, MakerSpaces. We support the "Rule of Two Feet:" you are encouraged to move on to another session if you find one is not meeting your needs.
