Education is not only a fundamental human right, it gives birth to one of the most personal, intricate arts known to man, the art of teaching. Slowly, with the growth of the population and the world itself, it became an industry—yet another place to pump revenue from. It has become something that comes with pre-written terms and conditions, harsher in some areas than others. Education has now become something you need to deem yourself worthy of rather than a birthright.
To successfully mitigate this issue, we aim to raise awareness and promote understanding of various education systems worldwide, highlighting the gaps and challenges each one faces. Our goal is not only to educate students about these disparities but also to empower them to take meaningful action. By providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, we encourage students to initiate fundraising efforts, start GoFundMe campaigns, create organizations, and more. We aspire to be the catalyst for students who are ready to drive positive change in education.
EdAware plans to operate in four successive stages,
Online Platform Launch: Establish a user-friendly website and social media channels where students and individuals can share articles, vlogs, and other content related to education.
Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant online community by encouraging participation, interaction, and collaboration among users.
Student-Led Organizations: Support the formation of student-led grassroots organizations in different regions.
Educational Needs Assessments: Conduct needs assessments to identify specific challenges and opportunities in local education systems.
Fieldwork Projects: Implement fieldwork initiatives, such as tutoring programs, educational workshops, and community outreach activities.
Policy Research: Conduct research on educational policies and practices to identify areas for improvement.
Advocacy Campaigns: Launch advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of educational issues and advocate for policy changes.
Partnerships: Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions to create a broader impact.
Global Network: Develop a global network of student-led organizations and advocates.
Sustainable Funding: Explore various revenue streams, such as donations, grants, partnerships, and content monetization, to ensure the long-term sustainability of EdAware.
