Ed deHaan is an Associate Professor and Endowed Fellow at University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. His research on financial reporting, corporate governance, and investing is published in leading academic journals and frequently mentioned in the popular press. Ed is an Editor of Journal of Accounting and Economics, and is a former Associate Editor or review board member at Journal of Accounting Research, Management Science, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies.
Ed teaches financial reporting and analysis primarily at the graduate level. He is an accomplished public speaker has won multiple teaching awards at both the University of Washington and Stanford University.
Prior to his current position, Ed was an Assistant Professor at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, earned his doctorate from University of Washington in 2013, and worked in public accounting and consulting at KPMG.
