π§How to Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. To request account deletion, please follow these steps:
Send an email to our support team
Use the email address registered with your EczemaEase account
Include the subject line: "Delete EczemaEase Account"
This helps us process your request faster
Confirm your registered email address
Include your account email in the message body for verification
Wait for confirmation
We'll send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete

ποΈWhat Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:
Your account information (email address, name, profile)
All eczema tracking data (flare-ups, severity logs, symptoms)
All trigger records and correlations
All uploaded photos and progress images
Journal entries and notes
Analytics and reports
App preferences and settings
Your subscription history
β οΈ Important: This action is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please make sure to export any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
β±οΈProcessing Timeline
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
During this period:
Your account will be immediately deactivated
You will not be able to log in to the app
Your data will be queued for permanent deletion
You will receive email confirmation when complete
π³Active Subscriptions
Important: Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active Premium subscription, you must cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play Store.
To cancel your subscription:
We recommend canceling your subscription before requesting account deletion to avoid being charged for future billing periods.
πLegal & Data Retention
Please note that some limited data may be retained for legal and compliance purposes:
Transaction records (required for tax and accounting purposes, retained for 7 years)
Support correspondence (retained for 2 years for quality assurance)
Anonymized usage statistics (cannot be linked back to you)
