If you want a purpose-built protective case for HD660S2 headphones, choose ECVGHD Durability Hard Protective; if you need lightweight wired headphones for side sleepers, choose MAGICLULU Vintage. For side sleepers, MAGICLULU is the more relevant option because it is a headphone set, while ECVGHD is a carrying case—not a pair of headphones.
ECVGHD Durability Hard Protective vs MAGICLULU Vintage at a Glance
• ECVGHD’s strength: molded storage with EVA foam and Oxford fabric, intended to help protect HD660S2 headphones from impacts and scratches. Trade-off: it is a case, not headphones, and its stated fit is specifically for the HD660S2.
• MAGICLULU’s strength: a lightweight, wired headphone design that needs no charging. Trade-off: the available details do not establish noise cancellation, gaming features, or wireless use.
• ECVGHD suits HD660S2 owners who want a dedicated way to carry and organize their headphones.
• MAGICLULU suits shoppers seeking a small, corded listening option for compatible audio devices or a vintage-style accessory.
• For side sleepers comparing these two, MAGICLULU is the only actual headphone; ECVGHD protects headphones during storage and travel.
ECVGHD is a carrying case designed specifically for HD660S2 headphones. Its Oxford fabric exterior and shock-absorbing EVA foam are meant to add a protective layer against bumps and scratches while the headphones are being stored or transported. A molded interior cradles the earcups and headband, and elastic inner straps help hold the headphones in place. In practical terms, that combination is aimed at keeping a compatible pair from shifting loosely around in a backpack or luggage.
The case measures approximately 22 × 20 × 12 cm, or 8.66 × 7.87 × 4.72 inches. It also has a reinforced handle strap and a compact design described as lightweight. Those details make it a straightforward choice for an HD660S2 owner who commutes, travels, or simply wants a dedicated place to keep the headphones when they are not in use. The interior is also intended to help keep dust away and reduce cable tangling, which is useful when packing headphones alongside other everyday items.

The key limitation is compatibility: the case is specifically described for HD660S2 headphones. The “universal” wording in the product description does not provide a list of other confirmed fits, so I would not assume that every headphone model will sit securely in its molded interior. It also does not provide audio, wireless, or listening features. If the goal is to buy headphones to wear—especially for sleeping—this case does not meet that need.
Who should skip it: Skip ECVGHD if you need headphones rather than a storage case, or if you do not own the HD660S2 model it is designed around.
MAGICLULU is the actual headphone option in this comparison. It has a wired connection, a jack plug, and a lightweight build described as ergonomic. The product information presents it as a compact choice for music, work, recording-related use, photography, or costume styling. Its listed measurements are 15 × 11 × 4 cm, and its stated weight is 27.22 g. Those compact dimensions and low listed weight may appeal to someone who wants a simple, portable listening accessory rather than a bulky over-ear setup.
Because it connects by wire, MAGICLULU does not need charging. That can be convenient for short listening sessions or for devices with a compatible jack connection: there is no battery to recharge before use. The listing describes an adjustable fit and says its design aims to reduce ear pressure and fatigue during extended listening. Those are relevant considerations for a shopper researching the best lightweight wireless headphones for side sleepers, but this model is not wireless. It is corded, and its small, in-ear placement details do not establish that it will be comfortable for every person who sleeps on their side.
There is also a clear trade-off in the available information. The description mentions a mic option, but does not make the microphone configuration or its capabilities clear. It calls the headphones suitable for audio devices with a jack, but does not identify specific device compatibility or provide technical audio details. There is no stated noise-canceling feature, gaming function, or battery specification. I would treat MAGICLULU as a basic wired, compact headphone choice—not as a confirmed gaming headset or a specialized sleep headphone.
Who should skip it: Skip MAGICLULU if you specifically need wireless headphones, confirmed noise cancellation, or a case made to protect HD660S2 headphones.
• Best for storing HD660S2 headphones → ECVGHD Durability Hard Protective. It is designed around that headphone model and uses a molded interior, EVA foam, and elastic retaining straps.

• Best for carrying headphones in luggage → ECVGHD Durability Hard Protective. Its compact case format, handle strap, and interior straps are intended for transport and storage.
• Best for a lightweight accessory → MAGICLULU Vintage. Its listed weight is 27.22 g, and its listed dimensions are 15 × 11 × 4 cm.
• Best for reducing storage scuffs and shifting → ECVGHD Durability Hard Protective. Its shock-absorbing foam and snug interior are described as protective features, though they do not turn it into a listening device.
• Best for a confirmed wireless setup → Neither. MAGICLULU is wired, while ECVGHD is a case.
• Best for noise-canceling gaming headphones for side sleepers → Neither, based on the listed features. The product details do not confirm noise cancellation or gaming functions.
Buying Considerations
For side sleeping, comfort depends on more than a lightweight label. MAGICLULU’s listing describes an ergonomic fit and reduced ear pressure, but it does not give enough detail to confirm how the headphones will feel against a pillow or suit a particular sleeper. The product is also wired, so the cord is part of the everyday experience. If you are searching for the best rechargeable headband headphones, neither option matches that description: MAGICLULU is not described as a rechargeable headband, and ECVGHD is not a headphone at all.
Check connection needs before choosing MAGICLULU. The product specifies a jack plug and a cord, but does not list every compatible device. A device needs a suitable connection for the wired setup to work as intended. Likewise, do not infer that “vintage,” “recording,” or “gaming” wording guarantees a microphone, a particular sound profile, or noise control; those capabilities are not clearly established by the details provided.
For ECVGHD, the central practical question is fit. Its interior is custom molded for HD660S2 headphones, with the listed case dimensions offered as a guide to its overall size. A compact case can make organization easier, but a snug molded shape is useful only if it matches the headphones being carried. The case’s fabric, foam, straps, and handle are storage features—not evidence of a particular level of protection beyond the described impact and scratch protection.
If price is part of your decision, check the current price on Amazon using the page’s button. I would make the choice first on product type, compatibility, and use: case versus headphones, HD660S2 fit versus jack-plug connection, and storage protection versus listening.
I would choose MAGICLULU if I were buying between these two for side sleepers, because it is the only one that is actually a headphone and its listed design is lightweight and compact. That is a practical match, not a guarantee that it will suit every sleeper; it is wired, and pillow comfort is not established.
I would choose ECVGHD only when the goal is to carry or store compatible HD660S2 headphones. It has the more clearly defined protective role, but it cannot serve as an alternative listening device.
No. MAGICLULU is a wired headphone with a jack plug. ECVGHD is a carrying case designed for HD660S2 headphones, with a molded interior and protective materials.
MAGICLULU is the only one that can be worn for listening. Its design is described as lightweight and intended to reduce ear pressure, but the information does not confirm pillow comfort or a fit that works for every side sleeper.
No wireless connection is specified; the product is described as corded and uses a jack plug. Noise cancellation is not listed, so I would not buy it expecting active or passive noise-canceling performance.
Its stated design is specifically for HD660S2 headphones, and the interior is molded to cradle the headphones. The available details do not confirm fit with other models, so check compatibility rather than assuming the case is universal.
