ECSML 2027
February 8-10, 2027 | Naples, Italy
The first edition of the European Conference on Scientific Machine Learning with Applications in Science and Engineering (ESML 2027) will take place in February 2027 in Naples, Italy.
This inaugural event aims to bring together mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists, and engineers working on the theoretical foundations and applications of scientific machine learning. The conference will provide a forum for interdisciplinary discussions on novel mathematical methods, computational techniques, and real-world applications in this emerging field. It will also provide an important opportunity for young researchers, PhD students and PostDocs to engage with world-experts in SciML, present their work, and build new collaborations.
Topics of Interest include (but not limited to): Physics-informed Machine Learning, Neural Operators, Agentic SciML, Explainable/Numerical Analysis-Informed SciML, Forward and inverse problems for PDEs and stiff ODEs, SciML for Complex Systems, Random Feature and Kernel Methods, Reservoir Computing, Gaussian Processes, Uncertainty Quantification, Data Assimilation, Optimization Algorithms, Linear Algebra for SciML, Manifold Learning, Autoencoders, ML-Based Control Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Image processing and Inverse Imaging problems via ML, Applications in Physics, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Medicine and Biology
