The mission of this organization shall be to bring together those who are interested in promoting better library services to the students of this community. For this purpose, we will study ways to improve our local conditions and to improve the picture of library needs to the citizens of this community. We shall also take such practical action as may seem wise after each study.

ECSLA supports librarians' professional development needs in their implementation of the Future Ready Model for libraries.
Escambia County librarians turned out to represent Escambia County at the annual FAME Conference in Orlando. Among them, one librarian presented a session while all three librarians served on FAME Committees.
