Energy Conversion Systems Lab at U. Albany

Directed by Dr. Mohammed Agamy, the research focus of ECSL is on power electronics circuits and systems for a broad range of applications including grid integration of renewable energy resources, data centers, transportation electrification and distributed converter architectures.

Particular areas of research interests include: resonant power conversion, wide-band gap device applications, energy storage systems, grid integration of PV and wind and machine drive systems.
