My name is Dordije Tripkovic, PhD student at DTU Energy working in the group of prof. Peter Vang Hendriksen and prof. Mogens Bjerg Mogensen. ECReX emerged as a side project intended to enable fast and reliable data treatment of large amounts of data. ECReX is based and inspired by ECRTools and work of prof. Francesco Ciucci [1] from HKUST, work of M.W. den Otter, H.J.M. Bouwmeester, B. A. Boukamp and H. Verweij [2] from MESA+ Reasearch Institute and a former colleague at DTU Energy Martin Søgaard. Unfortunatelly, I didn't have the opportunity to work with any of them, but I have learnt a lot from their work and thus I am very thankful and indebted. Apart from the core features provided by abovementioned authors, ECReX features a set of functionalities that I found useful in my work and wished that somebody else had made it earlier. Therefore, I hope that ECReX will be useful to many interested in ECR technique, especially PhD students. I encourage you contact me and suggest possible improvments, report bugs and further expand the functionalities on your own. I am also open to questions regarding experimental procedure, data treatment strategy or any other related topic.
