Ecology

The Ecologist is in charge of this section. On this page you should give a brief introduction to biotic (living) and abiotic features of your ecosystem. It is fine to mention some of the plants and animals that would be found in your ecosystem, but the zoologist and botanist will be covering them in more depth. You should focus primarily on the abiotic factors (climate, water, geography, etc).

This introductory page should contain striking images and video that highlight the features of your ecosystem.

You can customize the layout of this page by using the "layout" menu option.

The Ecologist is also responsible for the two sub-pages connected to this page:

  • Energy Flow-- prepare some type of visual representation of the food web connected with your ecosystem. Google has a neat drawing tool that should work well.
  • Map-- use Google Maps to identify the locations of your ecosystem around the world.
