Alleviating Climate Change by Crafting Viable Eco-Friendly Utensils

Approximately 10 million plastic bags are used every day in Phnom Penh alone. Consumption of plastic is widespread across the supply chain, not just in the service industry. In Cambodia, recycling plastic trash effectively is practically impossible due to a lack of waste management infrastructure. Our green areas and waterways are consequently growing piles of trash and waste.

Furthermore, plastic garbage is frequently burned, buried, or dumped into rivers or other green areas in Cambodia because of the country's inadequate infrastructure and resources. This trash decomposes into microplastics over time. The quality of the soil, groundwater, and air is all negatively impacted by these particles. Hence, the environment and local residents' quality of life are negatively impacted by microplastics.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

MISSION

By creating and promoting utensils that lower carbon emissions and plastic waste, we hope to actively support SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 15: Life on Land. EcoSolution's is dedicated to reducing our environmental effect by using sustainable utensils and educating people about the harm that plastic pollution causes to wildlife, forests, and soil. Through innovation and education, we hope to empower consumers. A cleaner, greener, and more resilient earth is the goal of the products we make.

VISION

In hopes to preserve the environment for coming generations, EcoSolution's envisions a world in which sustainable living is smoothly incorporated into daily existence. We provide eco-friendly cutlery produced from natural, biodegradable materials in an effort to lessen the damages of single-use plastic products. Through this social help project, we are able to embrace ecologically conscious practices that preserve biodiversity and re-establish the balance between humans and nature.

With the guidance of Ms. Phavan Va, our team was able to discuss the viability while also making sure the project was formed smoothly. On top of this, EcoSolution's are supported by a reputable role model who demonstrates responsible environmental behaviour and encourages others to do the same. Their leadership and obvious dedication to sustainability support our objective and inspire the broader community to take significant steps to safeguard the environment.

STUDENTS

Through this social help project (campaign work), we were able to reach within the students of our CIA First community. Students in our school are at the heart of the EcoSolution's movement. Their enthusiasm, collaboration, and creativity help raise awareness, promote eco-friendly habits, and foster a culture of sustainability within the school environment. As active participants, they amplify our message through campaigns, events, and everyday choices.

PLATFORM VIEWERS

In today's media-driven world, our team was able to expand our target audiences through the usage of social media platforms (via Instagram and Facebook). Our online supporters are crucial to increasing EcoSolutions' visibility and impact. They contribute to raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging a wider audience to join the movement towards sustainable living by interacting with our material, sharing posts, and taking part in online discussions.
