Early on in the project, we were grateful to have an environmentalist provide us with advice and comments. Their advice highlighted important factors for environmentally responsible product development and influenced the initial course of our prototype. This early advice was crucial in helping us polish our concepts before advancing with outreach and design.
To strengthen EcoSolution’s foundation, we reached out to fellow students at CIA FIRST International School. We engaged with them directly—through one-on-one conversations, sharing our campaign, and presenting in class—to spread awareness and gather support.
These efforts led to increased interest in our initiative. Many students responded to our Google Form, shared ideas, and followed our social platforms. Their participation not only gave us valuable feedback but also helped us build a base of supporters within our school community.
Following the establishment of our Facebook and Instagram profiles, these platforms emerged as crucial means of connecting with our target audience, which is mostly students. We shared data and information and provided updates, and encouraged people to get involved in the initiative via various channels. The reaction has been positive thus far. Numerous students have expressed interest in our cause, responded to our messages, and filled out forms.
With students as our targeted stakeholders, our team conducted a presentation for Grade 9 and Grade 11 students, reaching around 40 in total. It led to a fruitful conversation, as they were highly engaged, interested in our initiative, and asked some truly insightful questions.
