Most people in our society use cheap, harmful plastic products without proper disposal procedures, our environment is becoming more and more contaminated. But when people look for fruitful resources on waste management, there is scarcity of relatively easy content on the internet. We felt the ultimate urgency to help people in waste management. This is how our project started. We will create an impact on the prevention of climate change with the help of active and passive people's contributions online and offline through waste management.
We the partners of Eco Revolution project were wholeheartedly dedicated to take impactful interventions. To reach more people in this short timespan, we decided to work both online and offline. Our online activities stepped up with page, group and website creation. We introduced environment related quizzes, tips and tricks to make more people aware. Meanwhile we've been initiating our offline activities. We have recruited 10 offline volunteers to lead large campaigns. We've successfully signed two deals and run dual campaigns to emphasize on the main purpose of ending waste, restoring nature. One deal was signed with a teacher who has leased his 5 hectare land for making compost fertilizer. And another deal was signed with an agro farm which will supply organic waste and also donated 2000 tk for running the project. With that money we've made banners and arranged two successful campaigns. There we talked about eco bricks and compost fertilizer. We have also been negotiating with retailers to sell compost fertilizer.
Shahinur Rahman Pantho, the Former President of Volunteer for Bangladesh in the Faridpur district, has graciously collaborated with our organization. Through a online meeting, we discussed and successfully established an online community under his guidance. Mr. Pantho played a pivotal role in facilitating this collaborative effort. Additionally, we engaged in discussions regarding prospective collaborations with VBD for future projects. We appreciate Mr. Shahinur Rahman Pantho's commitment and look forward to the continued success of our joint endeavors
Abdul Halim serves as the Executive Director/CEO of United Agro and Fish Farm and holds the position of CEO at Jom Jom Confectionery, located in Mohipal Feni. He actively participates as a volunteer in our project and has generously contributed 2000 Taka to assist in covering our initial costs. We are grateful for his support and commitment to our cause.
Dibakar Paul, a highly esteemed science teacher at a government high school, has provided invaluable guidance on compost creation. His expertise has been instrumental in researching and developing cost-effective compost fertilizer methods. We are grateful for Mr. Paul's assistance and knowledge, which have greatly contributed to our sustainable initiatives.
