Welcome to EcoPulse. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the EcoPulse mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By downloading, accessing, or using EcoPulse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
EcoPulse is a mobile application that automatically tracks trips using device sensors and location services to estimate transport-related CO₂ emissions, sustainability metrics, and travel insights.
The Service may include:
Automatic trip detection
Background GPS tracking
Transport mode classification
CO₂ emissions calculations
Route visualization
Sustainability dashboards
Leaderboards
Vehicle profiles
Notifications and reminders
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use EcoPulse.
By using the Service, you represent that:
You are legally permitted to use the Service
The information you provide is accurate
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You may disable permissions at any time through your device settings, though certain features may stop functioning.
EcoPulse provides estimated emissions calculations based on:
Distance traveled
Transport mode
Vehicle information
Emission factor models
These calculations are informational estimates only and may not reflect exact real-world emissions.
EcoPulse does not guarantee scientific, regulatory, or legal accuracy of any emissions data or sustainability score.
EcoPulse may display rankings and sustainability comparisons between users.
By participating in leaderboard features, you understand that:
Certain profile information may be visible to other users
Rankings are generated algorithmically
Sustainability metrics are approximate estimates
EcoPulse reserves the right to moderate, remove, or disable community features at any time.
You agree not to:
Use EcoPulse for unlawful purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
Interfere with app functionality or servers
Manipulate trip data or leaderboard rankings
Use automated systems to access the Service
Upload malicious software or harmful content
Your use of EcoPulse is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of data described in the Privacy Policy.
All content, branding, designs, software, graphics, and functionality related to EcoPulse are owned by EcoPulse or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Create derivative works
without prior written permission.
EcoPulse may update, suspend, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
We do not guarantee:
Continuous availability
Error-free operation
Uninterrupted tracking
Perfect GPS or classification accuracy
App functionality may be affected by:
Device settings
Operating system restrictions
Battery optimization
Network connectivity
Sensor availability
EcoPulse may integrate with third-party providers including:
Firebase
Apple Sign-In
Google Sign-In
Map providers
Analytics services
Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.
Using EcoPulse may consume:
Mobile data
GPS resources
Battery power
You are responsible for any charges or usage costs imposed by your carrier or device provider.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected

Necessary to protect the Service or other users
You may stop using EcoPulse and delete your account at any time.

We do not guarantee that:
Trip detection will always function correctly
Emission calculations will be accurate
Data will always be available or preserved
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcoPulse and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
Indirect damages
Lost profits
Lost data
Device issues
Battery drain
GPS inaccuracies
Travel or navigation decisions
Sustainability-related decisions based on app data
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EcoPulse, its affiliates, employees, and partners from claims arising from:
Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Misuse of the app
Violation of laws or third-party rights
We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of EcoPulse after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where EcoPulse operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
