Banwarilal Bhalotia College established in 1944, is a well known college in Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman district, West Bengal, India. It’s the first college in Asansol to introduce Economics as an honors course in 1961-62. Our mission and vision is to make Economics a lovable subject for students by improving their understanding of the global, national and local economic issues that will confront our society now and in the future. In order to provide students with better skill to compete in the market at par with different esteemed universities, I have floated the idea to launch this Magazine with the Economic department Faculties members; Dr. Mousami Ghosh, Ms. Amrita Pal and to the Principal of the College Dr. Amitava Basu. The word of encouragement from them and students commitment motivated me to make this idea to be realized. I’m thankful to them as well as all teaching and non-teaching staff members to support me in all students’ related activities. In this Year our theme of the e-Magazine is Covid 19 and its impact on various sectors. It’s a first time that many students are writing a paper and this will give them good exposure to Research areas. I hope this Journey of Publication continue and remain successful so that our holistic approach towards education in Banwarilal Bhalotia College make students realized their dream.
