Milan is the Italian 'capital' of both finance and fashion.
Milan is also full of history and art. Milan (in latin, Mediolanum) stands for 'city in the middle' as it was founded by the Romans to facilitate their travels to Continental Europe. Its main theater, La Scala, features world-class performances.
In addition, Milan is a young lively city where visitors enjoy the 'Dolce Vita'.
Plane
The two main airports are Malpensa (MPX) and Linate (LIN). The Linate airport is near the city center and it is served by the new M4 subway. From Malpensa, the most reliable way to get to the city center is by taking the Malpensa Express Train.
Train
Both the Cadorna Station and the Central Station are served by subways that bring you close to the Bocconi campus.
