If you want a rugged, all-weather shield specifically engineered for the Tesla Model 3 with a raised lip to trap spills, choose EcoLiner USA Cargo Liner; if you need a thick, textured mat designed for the Ford Mustang Mach-E that prioritizes heavy-duty grip and a non-slip surface for gear, choose BestEvMod Vehicle Mat Cargo.
• EcoLiner USA Cargo Liner: Its biggest strength is the precise 3D laser-measured fit for the Tesla Model 3 (2017-2023) combined with a raised exterior lip that actively traps liquids; its trade-off is a single-unit design that might feel less aggressive than a heavy-duty truck bed liner. This pick is for Tesla owners who want clean, spill-proof protection without cutting or measuring.
• BestEvMod Vehicle Mat Cargo: Its biggest strength is the reinforced, thickened construction with a 3D textured anti-slip surface ideal for securing loose items in a Ford Mustang Mach-E; its trade-off is a specific focus on the Mach-E platform which excludes other popular EVs like the Model 3. This pick is for Mach-E drivers carrying heavy camping gear who need maximum traction.
• The Verdict: Choose the EcoLiner if your priority is liquid containment and a seamless factory look for your Model 3; choose the BestEvMod if you prioritize texture, thickness, and item security for your Mach-E.
I have looked closely at the specifications for the EcoLiner USA Cargo Liner, and what stands out immediately is the engineering behind the fitment. This product is built exclusively for the Tesla Model 3 Sedan, covering AWD, Long Range, RWD, and Performance variants from 2017 through 2023. The manufacturer uses 3D scan technology to ensure an exact match, meaning there is no guesswork involved. You do not need to measure your trunk size or cut off extra lines to make it work. It sits perfectly within the contours of the vehicle, offering a custom appearance that feels like it belongs there from the factory.
For the camper who takes their Tesla Model 3 on weekend trips, this liner offers a practical solution for keeping the cargo area pristine. The material used is Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE), a choice that signals durability over cheap rubber. TPE is known for resisting extreme temperatures, so whether you are packing gear in the freezing cold of winter or leaving the car in the summer sun, the liner won't crack or become brittle. It handles hot or cold weather conditions with ease, maintaining its structural integrity when other materials might fail.
The design also includes a critical feature for messy situations: a raised exterior lip. This lip acts as a barrier, trapping spills, mud, and snow before they can seep onto your vehicle's carpet. When you return from a muddy trail or a rainy campsite, you simply rinse the mat with water, and the stain-resistant surface restores its gleam. It is an easy-to-wash system that requires minimal effort to maintain. However, if you are looking for a mat with deep, aggressive tread patterns meant to stop heavy equipment from sliding around during transit, this smooth yet anti-skid surface might not be the primary draw. It is best suited for those who value cleanliness, precise fitment, and weather resistance above all else. If you drive anything other than a Tesla Model 3 from the specified years, this product is not for you, as the fit is too specific to be adjustable.

Turning our attention to the BestEvMod Vehicle Mat Cargo, the data reveals a product designed with a different set of priorities, specifically tailored for the Ford Mustang Mach-E from 2021 to 2026. Like its competitor, it relies on 3D laser scan data at a 1:1 scale to guarantee a perfect fitment, ensuring it sits flush against the contours of the trunk. But where the EcoLiner focuses on fluid containment, the BestEvMod emphasizes texture and bulk. The product description highlights a "thickened construction" and a "3D textured" surface, suggesting a heavier, more robust feel intended for rugged use.
This mat is an excellent choice for the active outdoorsman who treats their cargo area as a work zone. The anti-slip texture is a standout feature, explicitly designed to keep items in place. If you are loading up your Mustang Mach-E with bicycles, heavy coolers, or camping furniture, the textured surface prevents these items from sliding back and forth during acceleration or braking. It protects the truck bed from damage caused by shifting loads, making it a functional choice for transporting gear rather than just protecting against dirt. The waterproof nature ensures that even if your gear is wet from rain or morning dew, the mat will handle it without letting moisture reach the underlying floor.
Installation is straightforward, requiring no tools. You simply place it on the truck bed and roll it into position. Cleaning is equally simple; you take it out and rinse it with water. While the EcoLiner offers a sleek, seamless look, the BestEvMod leans into a "rugged, stylish look" with its reinforced build. The dimensions provided indicate a substantial piece of equipment at 20.9 x 34.5 inches, offering significant coverage. However, this thickness and texture might be overkill if you only need to protect against light dust or occasional spills. It is also strictly compatible with the Ford Mustang Mach-E, so owners of other vehicles cannot utilize it. If your driving style involves frequent transport of heavy, shifting loads, the superior grip of this mat makes it a compelling option.

• Best for Ford Mustang Mach-E Owners → BestEvMod Vehicle Mat Cargo is engineered specifically for the 2021-2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E.
• Best for Extreme Weather Durability → Both use high-quality materials, but EcoLiner explicitly cites resistance to cracking in hot or cold weather via TPE.
• Best for Heavy-Duty Texture → BestEvMod offers a reinforced, thickened construction with a rugged 3D texture for enhanced durability.
• Best for Easy Maintenance → Both products are waterproof and easy to clean by rinsing with water, requiring no special chemicals.
• Best for Custom Fit Precision → Both utilize 3D laser scan technology for a 1:1 scale fit, eliminating the need for cutting or measuring.
In my opinion, the EcoLiner USA Cargo Liner is the better choice for most general users, particularly those who prioritize a clean, spill-free environment for their daily commute and occasional road trips. The raised lip provides a level of protection against liquids that standard flat mats simply cannot offer, making it incredibly effective for real-world messes like wet dog paws, muddy boots, or spilled drinks. I would buy this one for camping because the ability to contain moisture and debris in a sealed, lip-edged tray keeps the entire vehicle interior dry and fresh, which is essential when you are trying to pack up after a rainy night in the woods. However, if you are a Ford Mustang Mach-E owner hauling heavy, shifting equipment regularly, the BestEvMod's textured grip is the superior tool for the job.
It is not listed as compatible with the Model Y, S, or X.
No, the product information states that no tools are required. You can simply place the mat on the truck bed and roll it into position for a secure fit.
The EcoLiner is constructed from Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE), which is noted for being highly resistant to hot or cold weather, cracks, and scratches, ensuring longevity in various climates.
Yes, the BestEvMod mat is described as waterproof and easy to clean, making it suitable for handling wet gear and spills while preventing moisture from reaching the vehicle's floor.
