EvoEvoModels database contains theoretical models of adaptation to a changing environment from various disciplines. It contains detailed and structured information about the parameter space, timescales, assumptions, and prediction of the models in a hierarchical structure, allowing comparison of the models across the disciplines.
This database grows with the expanding fields - new models can be added at any time. It serves the scientists and the community by allowing them to A) compare models against previously published models, B) increase visibility of scientific papers, C) identify gaps in knowledge D) generate novel insights by translating research across scientific fields.
At the moment, the functionality of this platform is limited. You can submit your (or someone else's) model of adaptation in a changing environment. In the near future, we aim to:
a) allow searching the database;
b) allow for comparison of the selected models;
c) construct trees and graphs of models based on their similarities.

You can submit your (or anyone else's) model via the questionnaire here. You will be guided through the submission process by prompts and questions. While some parameters of the model are compulsory, many are not, so do not get discouraged if you cannot answer the question, or if it is not relevant to your particular model. The entry can be modified later.
Yes, and we hope you do enter as many models as you can. However, search for the model first by either using DOI or the title of the article where the model was published, to avoid repetition. If the model you want to add has been already entered into the database, you can modify it. All changes will be reviewed before publishing by our volunteers.
At the moment, the database cannot be searched. We are updating the platform continuously. Please check again later.
