In this DataSet we went through 47400 Debris item from various materials and we managed to point to this debris on the map to locate and analyze them and we found that:

1. Plastic Has the major quantities of debris among all of the materials with 30669 item of total 47400 with percentage of 67.02%

2. Fishing Gear comes second with 5044 items with percentage of 14.04%

3. In third comes Paper & Lumber with 4367 with percentage of 6.82%

4. Metal come fourth with 1315 with percentage of 2.18%

5. From the visualization we knew that the plastic is the real danger to our marine life so we go in detail with plastic debris specifying its' types and percentages

In this visualization we getting closer to the plastic debris as it covers about 68% of the total debris and about 30669 found in the dataset .

Plastic has many shapes and types it can be bottles , bags , cigarettes , cigarette lighters or Straws

so by studying the dataset we found:

1. The most plastic types found in the water is Plastic or Foam Fragments with 33.13% and about 25438 items

2. secondly comes cigarettes with 22.75% and about 17469 items

In this visualization we studied the microplastic debris as it's one of the dangerous debris that threat the marine life we visualized about 1393 microplastic debris located in range of 4 years from 2013.

we used NOAA "Microplastics collected from Adventure Scientists-global microplastic volunteer initiative in Global Ocean from 2013-07-01 to 2017-03-30 (NCEI Accession 0211009)" to analyze how and where the microplastic debris will be more concentrated. the goal of our project depending in such results is to track the microplastic and "collect" it using our swarm design.
