The Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC) is the governing body of Paraguay's national education policy, responsible for ensuring quality, inclusive education oriented toward the integral development of people.
The Salesian Society of Paraguay and the MEC share an Institutional Cooperation Agreement that already has concrete history: together they drove an environmental education project implemented across Salesian institutions and, on a pilot basis, in public schools throughout the country, planting in educational communities a new way of inhabiting and caring for their territory.
That path continues today at EcoBosco, where the partnership takes on an even deeper dimension. This socio-environmental center in Ypacaraí is called to be a living space of learning, where young people don't just learn about the environment, they touch it, care for it, and transform it. Together with the MEC, EcoBosco can become a national laboratory for education for a sustainable future : a place where the land teaches, and where every practice is also a lesson.

The Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADES) is the Paraguayan state institution responsible for formulating and implementing public environmental policies, promoting the conservation of the country's natural heritage and its sustainable development.
The Salesian Society of Paraguay and MADES share an Institutional Cooperation Agreement through which they have worked together on the implementation of an environmental education project across Salesian institutions and public schools, bridging state environmental policy with the Salesian educational mission.
With EcoBosco, that partnership finds fertile ground to grow. The socio-environmental center in Ypacaraí opens new areas for collaboration: ecosystem conservation and restoration, participatory environmental monitoring, non-formal education for local communities, applied research, and engagement with local public policy. EcoBosco is not only an educational space — it is also a meeting point between civil society, the state, and the territory, where environmental commitments become concrete action.
