What is the noise?
Noise is any sound that is classified as annoying, unpleasant or inopportune, that is, everything annoying to the ear.
What is noise pollution?
We call noise pollution all those sounds (noise) that alter the normal environmental conditions in a given area, it also directly affects our living conditions.
Why can noise be polluting?
Because it is something that humans have artificially introduced into our lives and it can be detrimental to health and deteriorate our living conditions, as happens with other pollutants.
What number of decibels must be recorded to be considered noise pollution?
Not all sound is considered noise pollution, for a sound to be considered as such it must exceed 65 dB. It will be considered harmful when the sound is higher than 75 dB.
In the regulations of the town halls, norms on noise are usually established for residential areas. Investigate the time slots and number of decibels that are allowed or not.
The maximum allowed in a community or residential area during the day would be 65 decibels and 55 at night (after 7:00 p.m.)
