ECO-CARNEVALE-ECO CARNIVAL

FEBBRAIO 2020

LET’ S CELEBRATE ECO -CARNIVAL

This year we have celebrated Carnival with projects and activities based on our school curriculum where each subject, with its peculiar contents and objectives, is part of a puzzle enclosed in the frame of Ecology. In order to encourage students and their families to reuse materials, our school has opened its doors to welcome children's mums and create laboratories where different kinds of recyclable materials were used to make masks: colourful bin liners, Plastic glasses, old Plastic buttons, fabrics, cardboard boxes ETC. Finally, on 20th February children took part in a big ECO-Carnival Parade with lots of masks related to many topics such as ANCIENT EGYPTIANS, FAIRYTALE CHARACTERS, THE UNDERWATER WORLD. All school segments and subjects were involved through cross-curricular lessons based on language learning, Science, Social Sciences, History, Geography, Art, Music and ICT

EMERGENZA COVID-19

Dalla seconda settimana di marzo una terribile pandemia ci costringe a lavorare a distanza anche sul nostro progetto Erasmus "Eco-us support". Il protrarsi dell’emergenza non ha permesso la realizzazione di tutte le attività programmate incluso la prevista mobilità in Grecia 02/03/2020 al 07/03/2020. Siamo consapevoli che tutte le attività e mobilità subiranno una rimodulazione secondo Linee guida per la gestione del prolungamento della durata del progetto e delle cause di forza maggiore mobilità alunni e staff – azione KA219 e KA229 – Call 2017, 2018 e Call 2019 inviate dall’Agenzia Indire in data 15 Aprile 2020 alle Istituzioni Scolastiche.In questo periodo, comunque, il nostro impegno e il nostro entusiasmo non son venuti meno e questi sono il frutto del lavoro "a distanza" dei nostri studenti.

Since the second week of March, a terrible pandemic has forced us to work remotely on our Erasmus project "Eco-us support". The continuation of the emergency has not allowed the realization of all the planned activities including the mobility in Greece from 02/03/2020 to 07/03/2020. We are aware that all activities and mobility will undergo a remodeling according to Guidelines for the management of the extension of the duration of the project and the causes of increased mobility. Students and staff action KA219 and KA229 = Call 2017, 2018 and Call 2019 sent by Indire Agency on April 15, 2020 to the School Institutions. In this period, however, our commitment and our enthusiasm have not failed and these are the result of our students' working "at a distance".
