The project started with a kick-off meeting in November 2023, hosted by HESL in Ireland.
The meeting focused on introducing the project and partenr's responsibilities, organising activities, discussing strategies to reach the target group, and planning dissemination and collaboration efforts. Partners also explored Dublin, visiting cultural landmarks and engaging in team-building activities.
The first youth mobility took place in Estonia in April 2024 and it focused on promoting sustainable tourism, including workshops on eco-friendly routes and tips for responsible travel. Activities ranged from presenting eco-tourism projects and exploring Paldiski and Rummu to discussing environmental conservation and heritage preservation. Participants also brainstormed features for a project app and reflected on their experiences. The week concluded with a visit to Tallinn, where participants applied their sustainable tourism practices.
The second youth mobility took place in October 2024 in Romania, focusing on the role of youth NGOs in promoting eco-tourism for community development. Activities included teambuilding, discussions on youth contributions to community growth, workshops on NGO creation, and cultural exchanges. Participants explored Constanța’s cultural sites using sustainable tourism routes, piloted workshops from the Eco-Tourism Toolkit, and shared ideas for implementing eco-tourism initiatives locally.
The final Transnational Project Meeting took place on the 18th and 19th February. Partners assessed the second phase of the project, carried out the final project evaluation and discussed its long-term sustainability. We reviewed the outputs' final versions and ended with the preparation for the final report.
