Bathsheba, East coast of Barbados
Bathsheba, East coast of Barbados
Wellness Haven – The fresh sea air, the sound of crashing waves, and the laid-back vibe make the east coast perfect for yoga, meditation, and digital detox retreats. It’s where people go to truly reconnect with nature and themselves.
The East Coast of Barbados is a world away from the calm, tourist-heavy West Coast. It’s rugged, untamed, and breathtakingly beautiful—a paradise for nature lovers, adventurers, and those seeking true island serenity.
Tucked away on the hills overlooking the dramatic seascape of the east coast, ECO Lifestyle + Lodge, formerly known as Sea-U Guest House, is the realized dream of New York natives Kyle & Maryam, who traded the hustle of city life for a slower, more meaningful pace when they moved to Barbados several years ago. With their young family in tow, they’ve firmly established themselves in the local community, setting down roots when they purchased the Bathsheba Guest House in early 2018. Combining their love of travel and adventure with a desire to live a more conscious and healthy lifestyle, Kyle & Maryam are thoughtfully evolving ECO to reflect their balanced approach to living life to the fullest.
🌊 The Wild Atlantic Ocean – Unlike the tranquil Caribbean waters on the west, the east coast faces the Atlantic, creating dramatic waves, powerful swells, and stunning rocky shorelines. It’s a surfer’s dream, especially at the famous Soup Bowl in Bathsheba, one of the top surf spots in the world.
🏝️ Raw, Untouched Beauty – No big resorts or crowds—just miles of golden beaches, lush hills, and winding coastal trails. The east coast offers a sense of escape and solitude that’s rare on the island.
