Below are examples of implemented Birdboxes!
What is the cost to the venue?
Since our mission statement is to provide equitable, universal access to our technology, we implement all our Birdboxes completely free of charge. However, these boxes can exceed 80 dollars in individual cost; any donations mean the world. Feel free to pledge your financial support directly through our website.
What maintenance is required by the venue?
Since our technology is configured to alert us of any internal issues, our team will be able to monitor the health and telemetry of each installation. Therefore, if there are issues that need fixing, our team will come and fix them; there is no maintain that the implementation venue personnel would need to do.
Who can access Birdbox data?
Everyone! All of the constantly auto-updating photo albums from our implementation sites are located open-source on the Birdbox page of our website.
Should my venue be worried for surveillance and security reasons about the camera you are installing?
Not at all! The infrared cameras inside the Birdbox only will take periodic photos inside the confines of the wooden box; anything outside of the Birdbox is not visible to us in any capacity.
How does the tech in Birdboxes work?
View the ‘Birdbox Project’ page of our website for engineering details! For more in-depth scientific guidelines and criteria, reach out to us on birdboxers11124@gmail.com and our tech team will get back to you.
