Regular wetsuits harm the environment in many ways. First of all, they are made from synthetic fibers known as neoprene. The production of synthetic fibers produce extremely toxic chemicals and greenhouse gases. Additionally, there are more than 250 tons worth of wetsuits discarded every year. Unlike many other products, wetsuits cannot decompose or be burned in a safe manor because it is made out of synthetic fibers. This means that 250 tons worth of wetsuits simply sit in landfills every year with no hope for repurposing.
We believe that our product is worth the money due to the quality and the mission behind the product. Many if not all of the wetsuits on the market are relatively delicate. Once the wetsuit has one tear in it, the suit is essentially trash. Wetsuits work off of insulation and once that insulation is compromised, it opens up the user to the dangers of hypothermia. Unlike these wetsuits, our suit will still be effective once there is a tear in it. This is made possible because, our wetsuit is made from naturally hydrophobic fibers. Therefore, even though there may be a tear in the suit, there is a small air pocket around the suit that maintains the insulation properties.
Our wetsuits are perfect for all types of water-sports. They are tough, flexible, and provide a high level of insulation against the elements.
Yes, once we are in production we will offer children sizes.
