Growing up in my family of five, we were always on the go. Every weekend, it felt like we were off exploring a new place in Ohio. We visited Mansfield, Lancaster, Columbus, Cincinnati, Chillicothe, and so many more destinations. We wandered through bookstores, free museums, gardens, parks, and hiking trails. I grew to love those weekend adventures, and now, as an adult, I crave adventure more and more.
When we weren’t traveling around Ohio, we were hitting up local garage sales and thrift stores. As kids, we quickly developed a love for the hunt and, over time, discovered our own personal styles—which, as we got older, poured into the places we now call home.
Twenty-two years later, we’re all grown up. We have our own families, jobs, and lives, but we still love that same old treasure hunt! As you can imagine, our houses are filled with stuff. What can I say? We love stuff—and our cluttered yet organized spaces. We love old, distressed furniture pieces and cozy, lived-in homes. Weathered floors from tiny, barefoot feet. A wide variety of colors, styles, and textures. Picture collages, soft paintings, antiques, and a lit fireplace with a beautiful wooden mantel above it.
We adore printer trays on the wall filled with our favorite trinkets and books scattered throughout our homes. We love oriental rugs, tablecloths, plates on the walls, and plants (some of us are better at keeping them alive than others!). We love big mudrooms for those muddy boots and coats still cold from the winter air.
Our cozy, lived-in, eclectic styles make our homes our own—and the perfect places for our families to learn, make mistakes, be ourselves, grow, and spend quality time together.
And now, we want to share a piece of that with you.
Come check out some of our favorite things!
We hope you find something you love, too—something that takes you on a journey of slowly creating your own beautiful, cozy, lived-in spaces where quality time can be enjoyed and cherished with the ones you love.
From our families to yours,
The Mullers and The Millers ( yes my name only changed one letter!)
