Igniting Passion Trough Art: The 2nd Eclectic Atelier Competition & Exhibit

For years, Eclectic Atelier - The University Art Club has been a creative home for students nurturing talent, encouraging innovation, and inspiring bold self-expression. Since it's founding, the club has been committed to providing a platform where aspiring artist can share their vision, refine their craft, and contribute meaningfully to the cultural life of our university.

Following the success of last year inaugural competition, which brought together a spectrum of artistic voices and styles, Eclectic Atelier proudly returns with the 2nd Art Competition & Exhibit. An opportunity for young artist to showcase their passion and exceptional imagination.

Additionally, we aim with this event to empower student artists to tell their stories, express their truths, and inspire change through creativity. Each submission becomes part of a larger tapestry of ideas and perspectives that reflect the collective dreams of our generation.

Theme: "ALAB - Likha Ng Puso Ang Obra"

ALAB - a spark, a flame, a burning passion that drives creation. This year theme celebrates art as purest expression of the heart. Likha Ng Puso Ang Obra calls on student artists to pour their emotions, stories, and convictions into their works - transforming heartfelt ideas into lasting creations.

We invite participants to reflect on the questions:

How does your heart shape your art?
What message will your obra carry into the world?

Through ALAB, each artwork becomes more than just a visual experience—it becomes a testament to the artist’s spirit.s

This card represents the youngest artists of the competition for kids bringing imagination, joy, and color to life through their artworks. Their creations highlight fresh perspectives and unfiltered creativity.

Category Card 2

This card represents the teenage artists whose works balance curiosity and growing mastery. Their art reflects self-expression, bold ideas, and the search for identity turning emotions and experiences into powerful creations.

Category Card 3

This card highlights artists who use technology as their canvas. Through tablets, software, and digital tools, they merge creativity with innovation, producing artworks that push the boundaries of imagination.

1st Placer Card

This card is awarded to the 1st Place Winner of the One Category in the Eclectic Atelier Painting Competition 2025. Hold on to this card as your official proof of victory. Keep is safe as a symbol of your achievement!

2nd Placer Card

This card is awarded to the 2nd Place Winner of the One Category in the Eclectic Atelier Painting Competition 2025. Hold on to this card as your official proof of victory. Keep is safe as a symbol of your achievement!

3rd Placer Card

This card is awarded to the 3rd Place Winner of the One Category in the Eclectic Atelier Painting Competition 2025. Hold on to this card as your official proof of victory. Keep is safe as a symbol of your achievement!

General Guidelines Card

This card outlines the core rules and standards that guide participants, ensuring fairness, creativity, and harmony throughout the event. By following the General Guidelines, members uphold discipline while embracing freedom of expression.

Entry Registration Card

This card grants one (1) entry to the event Eclectic Atelier 2nd Art Competition & Exhibit on December 20, 2025 at Sindangan Plaza ground. Keep this card for your registration entry validation. Non-transferable. No replacement for the lost cards.

The winners of this competition are decided or judged based upon these criteria. Therefore, entries of participants are strictly must provide or fulfill the following criteria.

Originality 25 %
Interpretation of the theme 20 %
Skill and Execution 15 %
Overall impression and impact 10 %

Participants are strictly specified by their Ages range in validating their entries.

👶 Kids Category: 5 - 12 years old

🙍 Teens Category: 13 - 19 years old

💻 Digital Category: Only for teens aged 13 - 19 years old

NOTE: Participants must read and comply or follow with all of the mechanics and guidelines.

1st Placer - ₱ 3,000 + Certificate & 1st Placer Card

Digital Category

1st Placer - ₱ 500 + Certificate & 1st Placer Card

📜 Guidelines & Mechanics

The competition is open to kids ages 5-12 and teens ages 13-19.
Participants must adhere to the specified age categories.
Each participant may submit only one entry.
Digital is open only to ages 13-19. Winners will be selected by its creativity and wow factor.
Registration is free of charge. And participants must register in advance by visiting and fill-upping the given link of registration. Registration deadline is November 30, 2025.
The theme for the art competition is “ALAB - LIKHA NG PUSO ANG OBRA.”
Artwork must be original and created solely by the participant.
The only medium or style that is accepted is Painting. Artwork size should be 1/4 of Illustration Board (for kids category) and (30x40 cm) that is (11x15 inches) of canvas board (for teens category).
Artwork must be submitted on 27 to 30 of November at Plaza, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte and must bring their artwork in person during the submission period.
Each artwork must be accompanied by a completed details information, including participant's name, age, contact information, and title of the artwork.
All submitted artwork will be displayed at Plaza, for public viewing on December 20, 2025.
Judging Criteria: Creativity and originality, Interpretation of the theme, skill and execution, overall impression and impact.
Judging will be conducted by a panel of experienced artists and art professionals.
Winners will be selected based on the judging criteria mentioned above.
Awards and Prizes: Winners will be announced on December 20, 2025 (10:00 am). Prizes will be awarded to the top entries in each age category. Prizes include Certificate, and cash.
Participants and their families are encouraged to attend the exhibition.
